Running my web site and getting other Koreans interested in skydiving. Reading, sewing, cooking and going shooting with my Yobo (husband).

A Quick Bio:

 I've come a long way from being just a simple farm girl from Korea.   After I started skydiving my life just blossomed.  I've uncovered skills and abilities I never knew I had, travelled far, and made friends from all over the world. I've become a Senior Rigger, an AFF Instructor, and a Designated Evaulator.  I've helped set world records with JFTC and travelled to Thailand with the World Team and I want to just keep growing. My next goal is to sharpen my four way skills. I've discovered I love teaching skydiving to new comers and also that I'm good at it. It's hard to imagine my life now without skydiving. I may be getting older but I think it may just keep Yong Chisholm young forever.

Why is it important to you to be a Participant of Jump For The Cause 2005?

There are lots of good reasons to be excited about JFTC. We women get to raise money to fight a cancer that could hit anyone of us. We get to demonstrate a real positive image of skydiving to the public.  We get to shoot for a world record bigway formation (which I love doing).  And we get to prove women skydivers can bring it on with the best of them. What else could you want?

Do you have a personal story related to cancer that you’d like to share?

Since the last JFTC, I lost a brother-in-law to cancer and now I have a good friend undergoing cancer treatments. I'm glad I can do a small bit to help fund a cure.

Personal Message to Your Donors:

Thru my website I've made many friends in Korea, many I've never met in person, who when told about JFTC, took it upon themselves to sell t-shirts for me. Without their help and the efforts of friends and former students, my fund raising would not have been successful.  I also want to thank all the skydivers who let me brow beat them into buying my shirts and patches. Without their good humor I'm sure I'd have come up short. Of course there are those who simply gave donations and to them I am simply grateful.  Thank you all very very much and thank you Yobo.
