Additional Hobbies & Interests:
I enjoy skiing, inlineskating, klimbing and gymnastics and I like to play my piano, accordion and backpipe. I love my computer and I am a member of a german internet Star Trek community called “United Federation of Planets”. That is the reason, why my two beloved cats are named Jadzia and Nerys….the name of two friends working together at starbase Deep Space 9 ;).

A Quick Bio:
I am a physician, specialist in orthopedic with experience in trauma surgery and emergency, I was flying with an emergency helicopter, working in a refugee camp in zaire during the civil war in ruanda, than got an education in medical IT and now temporary “retired” in a clinic for rehabilitation, but still looking forward ;).
1995 I got the possibility to take part at the world record camp in Lake Wales, thank you, Roger Nelson! Than my emphasis was 4-way-training. 2004 I was a member of the german 121- and 122-way in Dubai.
In Corawa/Australia 1999 and Granada/Spain 2001 I accompanied the German Team as a physician.

Why is it important to you to be a Participant of Jump For The Cause 2005?
It is important for me, that we all fight together for a good purpose. Even if it is a personal challenge too, it is a good possibility to get support for the breast-cancer-research and help other people to survive. I thank for all the engaged women and men, who make this event come true!

Do you have a personal story related to cancer that you’d like to share?
One of the worst things you have to do as a physician is to tell your patient, that she or he is suffering from cancer, especially when they are young and often see it as their death sentence. Cancer-research is going on and improves the live for them, even help them, to survive. Therefore it is necessary to get the best support for it.
