A Quick Bio:
My life seems to have always been about facing different challenges. My early years were spent living in various foreign countries, each time having to learn to adapt to a new home, a new school and new friends. Then there was the challenge of boarding school and university!! Need I say more!? Then came being a young adult – such a shame I haven’t managed to conquer this challenge yet!! As well as beginning my career I also began to discover a number of other challenges. I re-discovered my absolute love of snow skiing, I began my new passion for skydiving, I learnt to ride a motorbike and have since been on a number of track days, I have tried my hand at BASE jumping and done a couple of aerials at Bridge Day plus so much more. All these fantastic pursuits helped to persuade me to pursue a childhood dream – to become a stunt performer, a greater challenge than any I have ever undertaken. I have since taken up a number of other sporting challenges to help me reach this goal and I must also secure paid acting work – all this and continue with my full time job!! Shockingly, skydiving is no longer a requirement for the UK stunt register but this hasn’t stopped me from participation in a sport which I totally adore. My two passions are rw and crw and this year I have the enormous privilege to be taking part in 2 world records in both these disciplines. Next year I hope to join my 8 way team representing our country at the world games.

Why is it important to you to be a Participant of Jump For The Cause 2005?
I feel very passionate about raising money for research into curing cancer as I have not only suffered as a result of this awful disease but I know so very many others have done or still do. The first time I raised money for a cancer charity I was horrified how many of the people who sponsored me had been affected by cancer, both directly and indirectly.
I am also very excited at the prospect of taking part in a world record especially in a sport I enjoy so very much. I am exceptionally driven and my whole life is about pushing myself harder and harder to improve and learn. To have reached the required standard to be involved at world record level is a huge honour and the result of a great deal of hard work and a total love of this fantastic sport.

Do you have a personal story related to cancer that you’d like to share?
Cancer has touched me in so many different ways. Sadly, I never knew my paternal grandmother as she died as a result of Breast Cancer. I have also seen friends suffer who have lost loved ones to the disease and I have also had scares even closer to home which, thanks to research into cancer, resulted in happy endings. It is a cruel disease and I am very happy to be involved in whatever small way I can to conquer it!
