the day you've been waiting for (or at least the day I've been waiting for) has arrived. We've finalized slots and suit color assignments for JFTC '05. If you have seen earlier versions please look again--some slot assignments have changed.

IMPORTANT!! If you are not 100% confident that you can do the slot assigned to you then please let me know as soon as possible. Some of you may be farther out than you have been before--others closer in. There are, for the most parts, reasons for the slotting but I am willing to hear all arguments pro and con. If I make any changes they will be posted on the website and the two people directly involved (who are switching slots) will be notified. Please check the website regularly.

Don't worry if you've been assigned a slot number that isn't on the formation. The formation is a 156 way and we've slotted 165 :-) beautiful women so we needed to add people all the way around. Trust me--it's a good thing.
If you already own or can borrow a SOLID (front, back and grips) color suit in the correct color for your slot you may take a $150 credit from the balance due for JFTC. If you have a suit you are willing to loan out then please start a thread on the JFTC Blog or on the Women's Forum at dropzone.com. The blog is located at: http://www.jumpforthecause.com/blog.html
I've got some important old and new business that I would like to share with you:
a) PHOTOGRAPHS: Remember to send your headshots in. A Jpeg format is best, plase send to rseymour12@earthlink.net
b) PAPERWORK: Please send copies of your FAI/NAA/National Aeroclub memberships to Richard at the address noted on the JFTC webpages. All memberships need to be valid through end October, 2005
c) PERSONAL DONATION PAGES, or Biographies. I have read each and everyone of these and not a one hasn't encouraged me to be a stronger and better human being. If you have a moment read about your fellow team mates, then add your own bio to the lists. This is one of the areas that receives the most comments from non JFTC people going through the site. The links to the bios (personalized donations pages) can be found on the fund raising page--note there are TONS of great links on this page:

d) HOTELS. JFTC is pursuing new, better accommodations in lieu of the Days Inn (closest to the Perris Airport) due to repeated complaints from skydivers staying there. All JFTC personnel will be booked into JFTC selected hotel(s) unless they make their own, separate arrangements. The final hotel decisions have NOT been made at this time. Please do not ask me about them. If you do elect to arrange your own housing for the event then you may take a $200 housing credit off your JFTC balance due. Local housing and hotel information is available on the Skydive Perris website at www.skydiveperris.com
e) CALENDARS: Jump for the Cause Calendars are almost ready to go out. Please do not ask ME about these. Your contacts can be located at: www.gaiasrose.org
f) JFTC Pins: We are happy to announce the arrival of the official JFTC pins, $2.00 each for participants, no minimum order, contact Richard to place an order. There are pictures on the website:

g) BALANCE DUE FOR JFTC. We have elected to extend the due date for final payments to 1 September to give the hard working women of JFTC some additional time to raise funds. Please continue to send in payments regularly as you collect them. Please direct any questions about payments and funding directly to Richard.
h) T-SHIRTS: Richard will be sending a mailing out shortly with information on official JFTC T-shirts.
That's all for this newsletter. We're 99% of the way to our new World Record already! All you need to do is to work on your donation collections, order your suit, get your paperwork in line, SKYDIVE HARD all summer and STAY SAFE.
