I enjoy hiking and skiing in the Canadian Rockies and travelling internationally.

A Quick Bio:

I started jumping in 1988 with Calgary Parachute Club at a small Cessna dropzone in southern Alberta, Canada. Very quickly I fell in love with the sport, the camaraderie of skydivers, and my instructor!  We have now been married for 15 years and have travelled and jumped extensively in Europe, South America and Southeast Asia. Professionally, I am a mild mannered accountant that goes against the stereotype.  My work has taken me through Canada and as far away as Bosnia.  Much of my early jumping was done in Arizona and Florida to escape the cold Canadian winters. I travel every summer to Lost Prairie, Montana and if you haven't yet been to their boogie, go! I am also a regular particpant of Exotic Sky Adventures' events.

Why is it important to you to be a Participant of Jump For The Cause 2005?

I've been involved with JFTC since the beginning and have also jumped with several other all women formations in Arizona and Florida. After the 1999 JFTC record in Perris Valley, I was honored to receive a "Woman of Vision" award presented by the Calgary community. Being a part of that event and spending time with the other recipients was a very special day for me.  I was unable to participate in the last JFTC event due to work committments in Bosnia, however, I was there in spirit and cheered when everything went so well.

Do you have a personal story related to cancer that you’d like to share?

Raising money for breast cancer research is a cause close to the hearts of both myself and my husband.  We lost a very close friend to the disease and have several friends who are now survivors. We want to support them and the generations to follow.
